陈秋晓，男，浙江大学建筑工程学院区域与城市规划系副教授、硕士生导师（城乡规划学），区域与城市规划系副系主任（主持工作），城乡规划理论与技术研究所副所长。1993年7月本科毕业于原杭州大学地理系，获理学学士。2005年3月博士毕业于中国科学院资源与环境信息系统国家重点实验室，师从陈述彭院士和周成虎院士。受学校新星计划和国家留学基金委的资助，2006年10月至2008年12月期间，两次访学加拿大University of Western Ontario。2011.5~2012.6，在浙江省住房和城乡建设厅村镇建设管理处挂职副处长。
Qiuxiao Chen is full professor in the Zhejiang University (ZJU) and master's Supervisor (urban and rural planning) of the Department of regional and urban planning, School of architectural engineering, Zhejiang University, deputy director of the Department of regional and urban planning (in charge of the work), and deputy director of the Institute of urban and rural planning theory and technology. In July 1993, he has graduated from the Geography Department of Hangzhou University with a Bachelor science. In March 2005, he has graduated from the State Key Laboratory of resources and environment information system, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Supported by the school's New Star program and the State Council for study abroad, he visited the University of Western Ontario twice from October 2006 to December 2008. From May 2011 to June 2012, he served as deputy director of the Rural Construction Management Office of the Department of housing and urban rural development of Zhejiang Province.
His main research interests include: urban analysis based on big data, application research of GIS and remote sensing technology in urban and rural planning, regional and urban development strategy, etc. Research on monitoring and evaluation system of land spatial planning implementation, research on urban center system and rural settlement system, and optimization of spatial layout of public service facilities are being carried out. He has successively presided over national international science and technology cooperation projects, 863 projects, National Natural Science Foundation of China, natural science foundation of Zhejiang Province and local projects, published one textbook, two software copyrights, and published more than 20 papers.
